Today, June 5th is World Environment Day and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu emphasized that it is imperative that we protect the balance of the environment and nature.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu issued a message to mark the 5th of June World Environment Day.
According to the information given by the Ministry, Ataoğlu, in his message, emphasized the importance of the environment and gave information about the work carried out by the ministry in this regard.
“It is the common responsibility of all of us to protect this unique heritage offered to us by nature and to leave a clean environment for future generations. Environment is an indispensable part of our lives. The contribution of each of us is critical in making our country a cleaner, greener and more livable place” said Ataoğlu in his message and stated that they have to protect the balance of environment and nature in order to breathe clean air and enjoy natural life.
Stating that they are facing serious problems such as environmental pollution, climate change and depletion of natural resources, Ataoğlu noted that it is time to take action to protect the future and pointed out the importance of working together for a cleaner environment.
“June 5 World Environment Day is a reminder for us to develop environmental sensitivity, and in this context, we emphasize the necessity of reflecting the protection of the environment and natural resources to future generations” said Ataoğlu.
