The “Karabakh Declaration,” signed after the informal summit of the leaders of the Organisation of Turkic States Organization (OTS) held in Shusha, Azerbaijan, has been published.

The declaration emphasized the historical significance of the summit and reiterated the importance of utilizing the full potential and opportunities in politics, economy, transportation, defence industry, humanitarian efforts, education, and culture to further strengthen and deepen the strategic partnerships among Turkic states and shape the OTS’s common strategy.

It highlighted the necessity of implementing relevant mechanisms and regulations for the effective realization of OTS’s missions and objectives towards building a sustainable future.

The declaration underscored the importance of enhancing connectivity among Turkic states through the establishment of appropriate transportation infrastructure and efficient trans-regional corridors.

It called for strengthened cooperation among member states to facilitate transportation operations, customs procedures, and the adoption of digitalization.

The declaration also expressed deep concerns regarding the humanitarian situation in Gaza, condemning the indiscriminate targeting of civilians and calling for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian aid in Gaza.

Furthermore, the contributions of Hungary, Turkmenistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as observer members of the OTS and the ongoing cooperation among Turkish collaboration organizations were acknowledged and appreciated.
