The Kazakhstan Businesswomen  Association was hosted at the Presidency.

Speaking at a lunch held in honour of the guests, President Ersin Tatar stressed the struggle of the Turkish Cypriots for freedom and existence, reminding that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) was the window through which the Turkish World opens to the Eastern Mediterranean.

President Ersin Tatar and his wife, Sibel Tatar, met with the Kazakhstan Businesswomen Association and the Entrepreneurial Women’s Association at a lunch held at the Presidency.

The dinner was also attended by the Chairwoman of the Entrepreneurial Women’s Association, İçim Çağıner Kavuklu, and members of the board.

Speaking there, President Tatar reminded that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) was a member of the Organization of Turkic States adding that he had met with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during various meetings.

Noting that efforts were being made within the Organization of Turkic States to develop a common alphabet to enhance communication and dialogue, the President stressed that strengthening relations among Turkic states would lead to shared growth in economic, social, cultural, and political aspects.

Providing information about the Turkish Cypriots’ struggle for freedom and existence, the President stated that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was the window through which the Turkish world opens to the Eastern Mediterranean.

Stressing that Turkish Cypriots valued spirituality and national values, Tatar expressed that meeting and embracing their brothers was a great richness.

Sibel Tatar also expressed her pleasure in seeing the Kazakhstan businesswomen at the Presidency and she expressed her hope that the visit would foster cultural, commercial, and cordial cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Turkish Cypriots.

Vice President of the Kazakhstan Businesswomen Association, Saira Aitenovna Mataibayeva, mentioned in her speech that they are Kazakhstan’s largest women’s civil organization, operating for 30 years in 22 regions.

GİKAD Chairwoman İçim Çağıner Kavuklu expressed her pleasure at the upcoming collaboration with the Kazakhstan Businesswomen Cooperation Association.

Reminding that Sibel Tatar, the wife of President Ersin Tatar, was GİKAD’s first honorary member, Kavuklu noted that she had always supported and stood by them in their efforts.
