Türkiye’s Grand National Assembly (TGNA) Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş underscored Türkiye’s steadfast support for Turkish Cypriots on all international platforms, emphasizing their commitment to advocating for Turkish Cypriots’ rights and sovereignty.

Speaking at the Turkish Grand National Assembly’s Plan and Budget Commission during the 2025 budget presentation, Kurtulmuş reiterated that Türkiye upholds the dignity and rights of its people, including those of Turkish Cypriots, in every international forum.

Kurtulmuş highlighted Türkiye’s role as a “voice of conscience” in the global arena, actively promoting peace and stability not only within the region but also on a global scale.

He expressed that the TGNA would continue its unwavering stance in defence of Turkish Cypriots, affirming Türkiye’s dedication to fostering peace and supporting human rights.
