The Ministry of Labour and Social Security has renewed its online service platform, it was announced on Wednesday.

All applications concerning work permits can now be carried out via the website.

According to an announcement by the Ministry of labour and Social Security, it will be possible to process all prior authorisations for work permits, renewal of or exemptions for work permits, student work permits or renewal of student work permits, employment of third country nationals as well as contracts between employees and employers will be possible through the ministry’s online service platform.

The ministry also said that the online portal service will be operational 24/7 allowing all easy access to all.

A total of 42,000 businesses are registered on the online service’s database.

An additional 105,000 documents have also been uploaded with 30,000 applications pending.
