The 11th Lapta Tourism Festival Organised by the Lapta, Alsancak, Çamlıbel Municipality, is set to begin tomorrow June 9, 2023.
A variety of events and concerts will take place at the three-day festival.
Speaking at a press conference, the Mayor of the Lapta, Alsancak, Çamlıbel Municipality Fırat Ataser said that a large number of civil society organisations, associations, businesses and schools from the area are taking part in the festival.
Inviting the public to the festival, Ataser stated that the festivities will be in a total carnival mood.
The festival will begin with a cortege at 7.30pm and an opening ceremony.
The famous Turkish music band Pinhani and local band Grup Frekans will also be performing on Sunday, the last day of the festival.
There will also be a fun fair for the kids and stands for food, drinks, souvenirs and craft work.
