A delegation of representatives from various state institutions in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus paid a visit to Poland.

The Ministry of Economy and Energy stated that a delegation consisting of representatives from various state institutions in the TRNC paid a technical study visit to Poland between the 24th and 27th of July.

Within the framework of the “Market Surveillance and Inspection in Northern Cyprus Project” which is supported by the European Union, a delegation consisting of experts from the Department of Industry, Department of Trade, State Laboratory, Department of Customs and Taxation, European Union Coordination Center and the Project team, headed by the TRNC Ministry of Economy and Energy, visited the Directorate for Free Movement of Goods, Competition and Consumer Rights under the Prime Ministry of Poland.

During the visit, Economy Expert Mehmet Uluç made a presentation on the work carried out on market surveillance and product safety in the country.

In the statement, it was noted that the TRNC delegation, which received information from Polish experts about the market surveillance system in Poland had the opportunity to make a thorough examination of the EU’s market surveillance activities on product safety.
