Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality Mayor (LTB) Mehmet Harmancı is holding a variety of contacts in Ankara, upon receiving an invitation from the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş.
Harmancı first met with his counterpart, Mansur Yavaş.
During the meeting, it was decided that the two municipalities would expand cooperation and would assign teams from the two municipalities during the new term to carry out concrete practices for the benefit of the citizens of the two cities.
LTB Mayor Harmancı also shared his thoughts with the Mayor of Ankara Metropolitan municipality regarding the idea of planting 35 Cyprus olive trees, which will symbolize the brotherhood between the two capitals that will celebrate their 35th brotherhood year anniversary and as part of the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality’s project to turn the Atatürk Forest Farm land into a park.
Meanwhile, Harmancı also met separately with the Mayors of Yeni Mahalle, Çankaya and Sincan.
