Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK) is organising the “1st of June World Children’s Day Drawing Competition”.
This year the competition is being held under the theme “Media in the World You Imagine”.
Children who want to participate in the competition must submit their drawings to the BRTK Directorate by Monday, May 29 via their teachers.
Bayrak Radio Television Corporation is organizing the 1st of June World Children’s Day Drawing Competition, which is being sponsored by the Mevhibe & Mustafa Başman Foundation.
The aim of the competition is to increase children’s awareness regarding media and events taking place around the world.
Children are asked to use their imagination to portray the meaning of media in their world and to bring their dreams together with colours in their drawings.
Students from state primary and secondary schools and private schools can participate in the competition.
Certificates of participation will be given to the 60 children who will gain the right to compete in the competition and gift certificates will be given to the first three children who received the highest ranking by the Mevhibe & Mustafa Başman Foundation.
The winning drawings will be exhibited at the BRTK Broadcasting History Museum HD Exhibition Hall on June 1st, World Children’s Day.
Issuing a statement regarding the competition, BRTK Director Meryem Özkurt said that it was their duty to enable children and the youth to express themselves through art and colours.
She said that while the BRTK continues its broadcasts in the developing and changing world fully aware of its responsibilities as a public broadcaster, it is her goal to assist future generations so that they can strengthen their bonds with art and culture.
