The Champion Angels, who lost their lives in the earthquake in Türkiye have not been forgotten.

Turkish Cypriot businessman Salih Yıldıray Fenercioğlu who was informed of water shortages in Kenya, spoke with a school and families in the Mesai Mara region before launching an initiative to drill a water well where 90 Kenyan children live.

Upon hearing that a group of 35 children were preparing to run a local marathon, Fenercioğlu gifted the children with the Mağusa Turk Gücü jerseys prepared in memory of the members of the Champion Angels Team who died in the February 6 earthquake in Türkiye.

Meanwhile once the water well is completed it will be named “Yıldıray Fenercioğlu and Champion Angels”.
