The Meteorology Department has issued a new dust warning.

According to a statement released by the met office, the island is experiencing a drop in air quality due to new episode of dust from the Middle East.

Vulnerable groups and those sensitive are advised to take precautions and avoid spending long periods outdoors.

The dust episode is expected to subside by Wednesday with the arrival of wet weather.
