The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is under the influence of a low pressure system, cold and humid air mass.

The weather in our region is very cloudy with showers expected throughout the day.

Air temperature is 2 to 4 degrees below seasonal norms.

Th Meteorology Department warned of heavy rainfall in the northern coastal region from the morning hours until the afternoon.

In the statement made by the Meteorology Department, “Downpours and thunderstorms are prevailing in the region, especially in the northern coastal region. Strong winds are expected therefore it is recommended that the authorities and citizens take precautionary measures.”
