The leader of the Rebirth Party (YDP) and Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı said that they are aware that 2025 will be full of serious economic problems and that they need to take some measures to increase revenues and relieve people.

“2024 was successful in our opinion, but we could have done much better,” Arıklı said, emphasizing that the government should prepare for 2025 in a very serious and determined way.

Arıklı reflected on the year 2024 and its achievements and shortcomings for the BRT and TAK.

He acknowledged that politically there were positive actions taken but also areas that could have been improved upon.

In anticipation of economic difficulties in 2025, Arıklı stressed the need for the government to prepare and take measures to increase revenue and alleviate the burdens on the people.

He emphasized the importance of serious and decisive preparations for the upcoming year.

Touching upon the Rebirth Party’s congress he said that the congress had been successful, contrary to concerns of divisions and weakened support.

Regarding the presidential election, Arıklı advocated for all political parties to present their own candidates in the first round and form alliances in the second round.

“The Rebirth Party plans to compete with their own candidate and support the candidate who aligns with Türkiye’s policies and works in harmony with the country” said Arıklı.
