The leader of the Rebirth Party and Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı attended a program on BRT and evaluated what his ministry has accomplished in the past year.

He also gave good news to motorists saying that steps will be taken in the New Year to overcome traffic problems in the capital Lefkoşa.

Arıklı pointed to the traffic problem in the country and stated that arrangements will be made to relieve Lefkoşa traffic.

He also announced that the ring road that will relieve the Gönyeli roundabout will be completed in April.

Arıklı reminded that the lack of public transportation has increased the number of vehicles in the country, which has led to traffic jams.

Referring to the Rebirth Party, he said that they will hold a meeting on January 4 and discuss whether or not they will remain in the government and that they will act according to the party’s decision.
