Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu expressed the hope that the second term of the 2022-2023 academic year will be beneficial to all students.

The Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu issued a message to mark the beginning of the second term of the 2022-2023 academic year.

In his message Çavuşoğlu said that they felt great sadness due to the earthquake and that those who lost their lives would never be forgotten.

Touching upon the cooperation that they have with the Ministry of National Education of Türkiye, Çavuşoğlu stated that they are currently on the verge of making an important breakthrough in the field of education.

Recalling that a significant contribution was made to education as a result of the meetings he held with his Turkish counterpart Mahmut Özer, Çavuşoğlu stated that the distribution of smart boards and educational materials sent from Türkiye to schools in the TRNC is continuing.

He also gave news that very important steps are being taken in the field of special education and that soon the lives of students with special needs will improve as they will be able to further their education.

He concluded his message by thanking teachers for their efforts and their sacrifices and wished them a successful academic year.

He also called on students to muster their motivation in order to make their dreams come true.
