Minister of Labour and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu said that the state stands by individuals with special needs with all its means.
Minister of Labour and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu paid a visit to the Girne Over 18 Disabled Rehabilitation Centre affiliated to the Department of Social Services on the occasion of December 3rd, International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Gardiyanoğlu was accompanied by Girne Mayor Murat Şenkul.
Delivering a short speech during his visit, Minister Gardiyanoğlu reminded that it should not be forgotten that every person is a candidate for disability.
He noted that they are working to improve the living conditions of disabled individuals with the understanding of a social state and to ensure that they live a comfortable and peaceful life.
“As a state, we are mobilizing all our means to make the lives of our disabled citizens easier,” said Gardiyanoğlu.
Stating that this responsibility does not belong to the state alone, Minister Gardiyanoğlu thanked Girne Mayor Şenkul for his contributions.
