Minister of Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu to visit Azerbaijan for key events

The Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu is set to travel to Azerbaijan tomorrow to participate in the 8thMeeting of Ministers Responsible for Education of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), engage in various discussions, and inaugurate the TRNC Higher Education Promotion Fair.

On Thursday, Minister Çavuşoğlu will officially open the TRNC Higher Education Promotion Fair, organized by the Ministry of National Education, in Baku.

Following his engagements in Baku, Çavuşoğlu will attend the 8th Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Education of the Organization of Turkic States, scheduled to take place on June 1 in the city of Shusha, Azerbaijan.

He will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry during these events.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of National Education is organizing a significant promotional event in Azerbaijan to showcase higher education opportunities in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

The TRNC Higher Education Promotion Fair will take place on Thursday, May 30 at the Baku Holiday Inn Hotel in the capital city of Baku.

The fair aims to highlight the higher education options available in the TRNC to the Azerbaijani audience and strengthen educational cooperation between the two countries.

During the event, 11 universities from the TRNC will present their programs, facilities, and scholarship opportunities.

Students, academics, and education professionals will have the chance to gather detailed information about the educational prospects in the TRNC.

The event will feature various presentations, informational sessions, and one-on-one meetings, allowing participants to gain direct insights into the universities in the TRNC.

Before the fair, a roundtable meeting will be held with the participation of heads of higher education institutions from both the Republic of Azerbaijan and the TRNC, the President of the Higher Education Planning, Supervision, Accreditation, and Coordination Board, and university rectors.
