Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu on Wednesday inspected the roads under construction leading to the Presidential Complex.
Uraloğlu said that the Presidential Complex was an important investment for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
As part of his visit to the TRNC, Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, also inspected the roads under construction leading to the Presidential Complex.
Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa, Yasin Ekrem Serim, and the Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Erhan Arıklı accompanied Uraloğlu during the road inspection.
Speaking to the press during the tour Minister Arıklı highlighted the significance of laying the foundation for the 4.6km second phase of the Northern Lefkoşa Ring Road.
Noting that the Northern Lefkoşa Ring Road was a project closely monitored by Minister Uraloğlu, Arıklı added that the contractor was committed to completing the road in 8 months.
He also stressed that 2025 will be a significant year for the development of roadways.
Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu for his part stated that the Northern Lefkoşa Ring Road will be completed within 8 months and that the Presidential Complex will be finished by the end of the year, along with the completion of the access roads.
Uraloğlu alsa stressed that both the Northern Lefkoşa Ring Road and the Presidential Complex were important investments for the TRNC and wished the TRNC people all the best.
