Moldova becomes the new president of the World Health Tourism Council

Moldova has become the new president of the World Health Tourism Council.

Council President Ahmet Savaşan handed over the flag to Dr. Natalia Ciobanu, who won the election on behalf of Moldova.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, who assumed the Presidency of the High Advisory Board of the World Health Tourism Council for the 2023-2024 period, and the term President, MP Ahmet Savaşan handed over the Council’s presidential flag to Dr. Natalia Ciobanu, who won the election representing Moldova.

According to information provided by Savaşan, the country that will chair the 56 member countries of the World Health Tourism Council for the period 2024-2026 was determined at the General Assembly convened within the scope of the 6th World Health Tourism Forum and Conference hosted by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Moldova won the election held with the participation of the delegates of the member countries of the World Health Tourism Council, where Germany, Saudi Arabia and Moldova competed for the presidency.
