TRNC Religious Affairs Head Hakan Moral has issued a message marking the occasion of the Night of Qadr, a sacred night in Islam.
He extended his best wishes to the people of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the entire Islamic world, emphasizing the significance of the occasion as the night when the Quran began to be revealed.
The head of the Department of Religious Affairs Hakan Moral described the Night of Qadr more blessed than a thousand months, during which prayers are accepted, and divine mercy and forgiveness are abundantly bestowed.
“This night is an opportunity to turn to our Lord, pray for peace, tranquility, and well-being for ourselves and the entire Islamic world, and strengthen our spirit of brotherhood and unity,” Moral stated.
He also called for patience and hope in the face of current challenges and urged people to support the oppressed and those in need. “We should cleanse our hearts of hatred, envy, and resentment, and instead cultivate love, compassion, and solidarity,” he added.
Concluding his message, Moral conveyed his heartfelt wishes: “With these sentiments, I extend my greetings to the people of the TRNC and the entire Islamic world on this blessed night. I pray to Almighty Allah that the Night of Qadr brings us health, peace, happiness, and prosperity. May our prayers be accepted, and our worship be deemed worthy.”
