Mustafa Mulla Hüseyin missing since 1963, to be laid to eternal rest on Friday

The remains of Mustafa Mulla Hüseyin who is just one of the missing persons since 1963 has been found and will be laid to eternal rest with a state ceremony on Friday, December the 1st in Gazimağusa.

Mustafa Mulla Hussein, born in 1936, married and father of two, went to Larnaca on December 27, 1963 to buy fuel and never returned.

He was reported “missing” by his family.

His remains were found in a well in the buffer zone village of Troulloi in the Larnaca district.

A military funeral will be held for Mustafa Mulla Hüseyin, who was identified by the Committee on Missing Persons through DNA tests, at 10:00 on Friday at Canbulat Martyrdom in Gazimağusa.

One thousand and thirty six (1036) missing persons from both communities in Cyprus have so far been identified and handed over to their families for burial.
