New commanders for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) have been announced.

Major General Sebahattin Kılınç was appointed as the Commander of the Turkish Peace Forces in Cyprus and Major General Osman Aytaç was appointed as the Commander of the Security Forces.

The new command staff in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus have been announced.

Accordingly Major General Sebahattin Kılınç was appointed as the Commander of the Tukish Peace Forces in Cyprus, Major General Osman Aytaç as the Commander of the Security Forces, Brigadier General Rıfat Dönel as the Commander of the 28th Mechanized Infantry Division, Brigadier General Hasan Ceylan as the Commander of the 39th Mechanized Infantry Division and Brigadier General Üzeyir Durmuş as the Commander of the 14th Armored Brigade.

The new appointments were published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Türkiye and have come into force.
