President Ersin Tatar, Parliamentary Speaker Zorlu Töre and Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu congratulated Justice and Development Party’s Istanbul Deputy Numan Kurtulmuş, who has been elected as the new Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA).

Issuing a congratulatory message, President Ersin Tatar wished Mr. Kurtulmuş success at his new post.

Parliamentary Speaker Zorlu Töre who spoke with Kurtulmuş, congratulated him on behalf of the deputies of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus parliament and Cyprus Turkish people.

During their discussion, the two Parliamentary Speakers expressed their mutual goodwill and best wishes for the ongoing relations between the two parliaments and countries.

Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu via social media wrote, “I congratulate Numan Kurtulmuş, who was elected as the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and I would like to wish him success at his new duty”.
