New rules for entry come into force

The rules for entry into the TRNC in line with the latest epidemiological situation have changed.

As of Monday, 25.10.2021, passengers arriving from “Orange” category countries under which Turkey and the UK are listed in will be subject to new rules.

Fully vaccinated or recovered individuals will be exempt from quarantine upon entry on the condition they present a negative PCR test carried out in the last 72 hours. Should these persons fail to present a negative PCR test they will be tested upon entry.

Non-vaccinated persons arriving from orange category countries will be required to present a negative PCR test upon entry and will be subject to five days in quarantine.

According to the latest decisions adopted by the Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases, non-vaccinated persons will not be allowed into bars and clubs.
