The North Cyprus Red Crescent Society (Kuzey Kıbrıs Kızılay) has announced that the aid donations it collected following the devastating twin earthquakes in Türkiye have been delivered.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the society said that it was still accepting aid donations, adding that humanitarian supplies and donations listed by AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Unit) and the Red Crescent could be dropped off at the society’s headquarters in Lefkoşa.
The donations list includes clothing, food, personal and home hygiene products as well as other products.
However, the society said that they were not accepting second-hand clothing as this required additional operational costs such as washing and dry cleaning.
