The Ministry of Tourism has announced the occupancy rate of hotels for the first two months of 2023.

According to the statistics released by the ministry, the occupancy rate for January and February stands at 24.9 per cent.

The occupancy rate at hotels for January and February has gone up to 24.9 per cent, the Tourism Ministry announced on Monday.

This figure was 16 per cent the previous year which means a 67 per cent increase was recorded in 2023.

The total number of foreign tourists reached 118, 636.

Again this figure was 71, 204 the previous year.

The number of Turkish nationals staying at hotels was 25,126 for the first two months in 2023 amounting to a 104 per cent increase.
