The Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Dursun Oğuz issued a message on Sunday to mark World Farmers Day.

Oğuz said that farmers played an important role for the development of the country’s economy.

In his message issued to mark World Farmers Day, the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Dursun Oğuz said that farmers and the agriculture sector played a crucial role in the growth of the economy and the development of the country.

He also said that the government was working hard to address the problems faced in the agriculture sector.

“Our farmers put food on our table through their hard work, providing us with an uninterrupted supply. We are well aware of the difficult conditions in which they produce,” Oğuz said, wishing all farmers a happy World Farmers Day.
