Interior Minister Dursun Oğuz is in Ankara for a brief visit.
Within the framework of his contacts, Minister Oğuz came together with his Turkish counterpart Ali Yerlikaya.
During the meeting, joint steps and cooperation between the two countries on extradition were evaluated.
Following the head-to-head meeting between Oğuz and Yerlikaya, an inter-delegation meeting was also held.
Making a statement after the talks, Interior Minister Dursun Oğuz said that the issues related to the activation of the Irregular Migration Centre were discussed and the works carried out were evaluated.
He said that the steps to be taken regarding the Deportation Centres for Undocumented Migrants were also evaluated.
Oğuz also stated that the joint steps to be taken on extradition between the two countries were also discussed.
Oğuz also thanked Turkish Minister Yerlikaya for the two vehicles given to the Civil Defence Organization by the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Presidency.
