Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay on Sunday sent a message of condolence to President Ersin Tatar.
“We are deeply saddened by the pain of our Turkish Cypriot brothers and sisters who lost their lives in the earthquake in our country,” Oktay stressed in his message and expressed his condolences for the losses.
According to a statement issued by the President’s Office, the condolence message of the Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay, who stressed the unity and solidarity of the Turkish Cypriot people and motherland Türkiye, is as follows;
“Mr. President, the pain of our Turkish Cypriot brothers and sisters who lost their lives in the earthquake in our country has deeply saddened us all. May God have mercy on those who lost their lives. I offer my condolences to their relatives and all Turkish Cypriot people. I wish our injured brothers and sisters a speedy recovery. Our unity and solidarity will give us even more strength during the healing process of the earthquake.”
