Ombudsperson İlkan Varol presented the 35th and 36th Term Reports to President Ersin Tatar on Monday.
President Tatar expressed his appreciation for Varol’s representation in international organizations.
İlkan Varol on Monday presented reports to President Ersin Tatar prepared by her office covering the periods of January-June and July-December, 2023.
During the meeting, President Tatar said that he was following the work of the Office of the Ombudsman, which holds an important place in the country, and stated that he appreciates Varol’s representation in international organizations.
Ombudsman İlkan Varol also provided information about the functioning of the department and the international meetings she attended.
Varol also briefed President Tatar on the completed legislative work to address staff shortages and the need for legal professionals.
