Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, who paid a visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), was received by the Speaker of the Parliament Ziya Öztürkler on Wednesday.

During the visit it was emphasized that the ties between Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are unshakable.

Türkiye’s Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş was received by the Speaker of the Parliament Ziya Öztürkler.

Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Yasin Ekrem Serim and Minister of Labor and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu accompanied Göktaş during the visit.

Speaking here the Speaker of Parliament Ziya Öztürkler emphasized that the ties between Türkiye and the TRNC are unshakable.

Stating that the Ministry carries out very important work and that the ministry in the TRNC works to assist people of all ages, Öztürkler said, “As the Parliament, we fully support our Ministry in its legislative activities.”

Turkish Minister Göktaş for her part stated that the ties between the TRNC and Türkiye are unshakable and will continue in this way.

“From now on, we will continue to share our experience and knowledge. We have declared this year as the family year in Türkiye and we have started to work in this direction. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has supported young and marrying couples and newborn children, and this will continue, and we will share all these developments with the TRNC,” said Göktaş.
