The newly elected CTP MP Sami Özuslu has said that there will be changes in politics.

Özuslu’s words came during an evaluation of his election victory on Bayrak Radio Television.

Sami Özuslu who won Sunday’s parliamentary by-election said that the public had given several strong messages through the ballot, primarily that it wanted to see change in the country.

“We will be seeing a change in politics as of tomorrow. Our goal will be to rekindle hope and free the public from despair,” Özuslu told BRT.

He added that the election results showed in the background that there was discontent in the country’s political administration.

Özuslu also said that he will be working to address the problems of the press and media sector which has not been represented in parliament for the past 45 years.
