The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Ziya Öztürkler emphasized that the value of Bayrak Radio Television Corporation on the Turkish Cypriot people is invaluable and the mission it undertakes is important.

The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Ziya Öztürkler issued a congratulatory message to mark the 61st anniversary of BRTK.

In his message Öztürkler emphasized the importance of the mission the BRTK has undertaken and said, “BRTK is important in revealing the national spirit of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and has a great contribution to our present day. With the developing and digitalized opportunities, you continue to make our voices heard. We are always with you, many 61 years,” he said.

Reminding that 41 years ago, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was declared in the building of the Republican Assembly, Öztürkler emphasized that the mission undertaken by the BRTK before and after the establishment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is precious in the struggle for the voice of the Turkish Cypriot people and unity.

Öztürkler said, “We, as the Republic’s Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, wish you success in your work. I convey that we are always with you and wish you many more 61 years.”
