Parl. Speaker Töre in Denizli, Türkiye

Speaker of Parliament Zorlu Töre flew to Türkiye on Wednesday and drove to Denizli via Antalya.

He will start on his official contacts today (Thursday).

Töre attended a dinner given in his honour by the Turkish Union of Education, Training, Sciences and Public Employees (Türk Eğitim Sen) in Denizli last night (Wednesday).

In addition to the union officials, mayors of some districts of Denizli, representatives of political parties in Denizli and representatives of non-governmental organizations took part in the dinner.

Delivering a short speech, Parliamentary Speaker Töre said that as people who believe in the same ideals, they always support the existence and strength of the Turkic Union.

Referring to the importance of the Turkic world, Töre said that Türkiye is leading other Turkic States and that they will continue to work together for the Turkish century under the leadership of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Reminding that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) was established with the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans, Töre noted that it is their primary duty to keep this state alive.

Within the framework of his Denizli visits, Töre will give a conference on the Cyprus problem at the Pamukkale University.
