Parl. Speaker Töre met with EYUDER delegation

The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre said that there should be a common alphabet in the Turkic world.

Töre said that even if it takes time for this to happen, efforts should be accelerated to create unity in language, ideas and work.

The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre received Adem Çilek, the President of the Kastamonu University and the Association of Educational Administrators and Experts and his accompanying delegation.

Speaking during the visit Töre stated that the participation in the 15th International Educational Management Forum held in Antalya was very high and productive, and noted that he followed the work of the association with much appreciation.

He said that some countries in the Turkic world have adopted the Latin alphabet used by Türkiye and that the work in this direction continues, adding that the work of non-governmental organizations is admirable.

Töre said that it is necessary to ensure the unity of the alphabet in the Turkic world and that even if it takes time for this to happen, efforts should be accelerated to create unity in language, ideas and work.

He stated that the statements of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev encouraged them in this regard.

Adem Çilek the President of Kastamonu University and the Association of Educational Administrators and Experts for his part said that they would like to open a representative office in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and hold the next event in the TRNC.
