The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre met with a delegation from the Istanbul Industrialists, Investors and Businessmen Association (ISIAD).

During the visit Töre emphasized that investments should be focused in areas that are needed most in the country.

Speaking during the visit Töre stated that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) needed investment in the field of manufacturing and industry and said that the government and parliament will be supporting initiatives in this direction.

The Chairman of the High Advisory Board of the Istanbul Industrialists, Investors and Businessmen’s Association and former Justice and Development (AK) Party Diyarbakır MP Cuma İçten, for his part, said that they see the TRNC as part of the Turkish nation and that they aim to invest in certain areas of need.
