The Republic Assembly’s General Assembly convenes today for its first session following the ceremonial opening of the new legislative year on Tuesday, October 1.

Elections for the bureau of the assembly will take place at today’s session.

During the meeting, the Speaker of the Assembly, along with the Deputy Speaker, Administrative Officer, and four clerks of the assembly, will be elected.

In addition to the election, the agenda also includes the “2024 Additional Budget Law Proposal for the Administration of Foundations” and the related report by the Committee on Economy, Finance, Budget, and Planning.
