The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Ziya Öztürkler travelled to Ankara the capital of Türkiye, with the Bureau of the Assembly upon the invitation of the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş.
Öztürkler will embark on his contacts in Ankara today.
According to the information given by the Assembly, Öztürkler was welcomed at Ankara Esenboğa Airport by Hüseyin Yaman, Member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly’s Türkiye – TRNC Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, Hatay MP, Chairman of the Digital Media Commission, the TRNC Ambassador to Ankara İsmet Korukoğlu and other officials.
Öztürkler’s delegation consists of members of the Presidency Council which includes National Unity Party (UBP) MP’s Hasan Küçük, Fırtına Karanfil and Republican Turkish Party (CTP) MP Devrim Barçın.
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Fazilet Özdenefe, who was in Adıyaman due to the Isias case, Parliament’s Administrative Supervisor UBP MP Yasemi Öztürk and Presidency Council Member CTP MP Şifa Çolakoğlu will accompany the delegation in Ankara.
