President Ersin Tatar received the educators representing the country at the International I. ESEP Educational Sciences and Effective Practices Congress organized in cooperation with the Association for Supporting Leader Educators, Volunteers and Academicians, Erciyes University, the Hatay Provincial Directorate of National Education and İskenderun Technical University.

Speaking during the visit President Tatar stated that the Turkish Cypriot people attach great importance to education and that some important names who have contributed to education were raised in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

“The cooperation activities carried out are a great honour for the TRNC and our education system in terms of representation,” Tatar said and pointed to the importance of national and spiritual values and the necessity of winning young generations with compassion and love.

Nazmiye Hazar, who is a member of the organizing committee of the Association for Supporting Leader Educators, Volunteers and Academicians, conveyed the plaque of appreciation to President Ersin Tatar by Gökhan Arıkan, the President of the Association.

Tatar was presented with the plaque for the TRNC’s contribution to the congress, which was a source of morale and motivation for the reconstruction of the Hatay Region after the earthquake in Türkiye and the development of the people in that region.

Meanwhile President Ersin Tatar also received the Board of Trustees of the 15 November Cyprus University.

Speaking during the visit the President mentioned that the TRNC, as an island of education, has given hundreds of thousands of graduates and said that there are many valuable people who have graduated from here and now serve their country.
