Prime Minister Ersan Saner will be going to the Turkish capital Ankara today.
He will take part in the 2021 Turkey-TRNC Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement’s signing ceremony that will take place on Wednesday and carry out a variety of official contacts.
Prime Minister Saner will be accompanied by Finance Minister Dursun Oğuz during his visit to Turkey.
According to a statement released by the Prime Ministry’s Public Relations Department, Turkey is taking into account the COVID-19 pandemic and will be contributing to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus state budget and the real sector through the protocol.
Making a statement regarding the issue, Prime Minister Ersan Saner said that the 2021 Turkey-TRNC Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement coming to its final stage carried great importance for the Turkish Cypriot people.
“Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has shown great interest and Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay has contributed to the 2021 Turkey-Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement. The signing of the agreement will bring prosperity and a brighter future for the Turkish Cypriot people” said Saner.
The Premier is expected to return to the Republic on Thursday after completing his contacts in Ankara.
