Prime Minister Ünal Üstel called on the international community to stop the genocide in Gaza.
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel made a statement on Gaza and developments taking place in the region.
“We support the United Nations General Assembly’s call for Israel to end its ‘illegal presence’ in the occupied Palestinian territories and we will follow the developments that will take place with the adoption of the resolution. The living conditions of civilians in Gaza must be improved and humanitarian aid must reach the region without interruption” said Üstel.
Addressing the world public opinion, Prime Minister Üstel said, “Do not remain silent. We must work together to stop the bloodshed in Gaza and establish peace.”
Calling once again for a ceasefire in the region, the Prime Minister stated that as the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), they have always been and will continue to be in favour of peace.
He urged all countries to urgently take responsibility for ending the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza and to work towards peace.
