PM Üstel issues congratulatory messages to Tekakpınar and Ulaç

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has congratulated Begüm Tekakpınar, who won first place at the 3rd Meykin Asian International Music Festival held in Kyrgyzstan, and Doğukan Ulaç, who won first place at the 35th Samsung Bosphorus Intercontinental Swimming Competition held in Istanbul, for their successes.

In his congratulatory messages, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel expressed his congratulations to the young singer Begüm Tekakpınar, who represented the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC) for the first time at the Meykin Asian International Music Festival in Kyrgyzstan and brought pride to the country by winning first place.

He extended his gratitude to her educators and family for this significant achievement.

Üstel, in a second message, noted that Turkish Cypriot swimmer Doğukan Ulaç came in first place in the overall men’s category with a time of 41:22 at the Samsung Bosphorus Intercontinental Swimming Competition, organized by the Turkish National Olympic Committee and featuring a total of 2,641 swimmers from 77 countries across 5 continents.

He remarked, “He has honoured the TRNC and the Turkish Cypriot people.” Prime Minister Üstel congratulated Doğukan Ulaç, his coach, and his family.
