“Our teachers, enlighten and educate our youth, to whom we will entrust our independent state celebrating its 40th anniversary,” Prime Minister Ünal Üstel said in his message issued on November 24 Teachers’ Day.
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, in his message issued to mark November 24th Teachers’ Day, stated that the teachers, who worked during the national struggle both on the front lines and in schools, and who worked with great faith and sacrifice in the most difficult conditions to raise new generations loyal to the state in the early years of the republic, are now enlightening the youth to whom we entrust the independent Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
“I express my most sincere wishes to teachers on this special day. They carry out the sacred profession of raising and educating our children,” he said.
Üstel also said that the government will spare no effort or will not run from any responsibility in further developing education further.
