Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has welcomed the new projects to be carried out with the support of the Republic of Türkiye in the fields of health and labour.
Üstel received yesterday the visiting Turkish Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Bilgin.
Speaking during the meeting which took place at the Prime Ministry, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel said he was pleased to see a number of new projects being implemented in cooperation with Türkiye in the field of health and labour.
“During our recent visit and contacts held in Türkiye we had discussed ways of integrating the social services institutions of the two countries, how people residing here in the TRNC could benefit from Türkiye’s health system and how we can improve working conditions here in the country. And now we have signed this new cooperation protocol,” he said.
Üstel thanked the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay for their support.
The Turkish Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Bilgin for his part said that the protocol signed will contribute to developing and improving working life in both countries.
He added that cooperation between the relevant ministries of the two countries will continue.
