PM Üstel receives TR Deputy Foreign Minister Yasin Ekrem Serim

The visiting Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Yasin Ekrem Serim was received by Prime Minister Ünal Üstel on Monday.

During their meeting the joint work carried out between Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in combating irregular migration was discussed and a consensus was reached on the measures to be implemented for the security of the country.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel received the visiting Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Yasin Ekrem Serim. Minister of Interior Ziya Öztürkler was also present at the visit.

Speaking during the meeting Prime Minister Ünal Üstel pointed out that irregular migration was an issue that the whole world was struggling with and emphasized the importance of the work carried out between Türkiye and the TRNC in unity and solidarity for the security of the island.

“We will continue to work hand in hand in line with the interests of our countries and take all necessary steps together,” said Üstel.
