Pr. Tatar issues message of condolence to Pakistan

President Ersin Tatar issued a message of condolence in regards to the train crash disaster in Pakistan.

A passenger train derailed in Pakistan leading to the death of 30 people and 100 others injured.

In his message, President Ersin Tatar stated that he had learned with great sadness that at least 30 people lost their lives and more than a hundred had been injured as a result of the derailment of a passenger train near the city of Navabshah in Pakistan, a brotherly country that takes part in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation together with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

“My hope is that the loss of life will not increase and the injured a speedy recovery,” wrote Tatar in his message and expressed his condolences to the families who lost loved ones in the accident on behalf of himself and the Turkish Cypriot people.
