President Ersin Tatar presented Dr. Münür Hüdaverdi with a National Struggle Medal.

President Ersin Tatar who visited Dr. Münür Hüdaverdi at his home presented him with the National Struggle Medal on behalf of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus state (TRNC) for his services as a fighter for the Turkish Resistance Organization (TMT).

Stating that many people were martyred in Cyprus, President Tatar said that their sacrifices were examples of great heroism, adding that Dr. Münür Hüdaverdi’s services will not be forgotten.

He also noted that Dr. Hüdaverdi, as a doctor, treated hundreds of Turkish Cypriots and also contributed to the national cause as a fighter.

Dr. Hüdaverdi for his part noted how honoured he was in receiving such a meaningful and precious award from such a valuable person and thanked the President for his visit.
