The Police Force is celebrating the 59th anniversary of its establishment.

In line with anniversary celebrations Police General Director Kasım Kuni and his accompanying delegation are paying visits to state and government officials.

President Ersin Tatar was the first state official they visited.

President Ersin Tatar received the Police General Director Kasım Kuni and his accompanying delegation.

Speaking during the visit the President said that it is the common goal of everyone to live safely in peace and tranquillity and therefore they will work to increase the means and capabilities of the police force.

Pointing to the importance of public safety, President Tatar said there is movement in the population therefore more responsibility fell upon the police and security forces.

“We are ready to do whatever we can as a state in line with our capabilities in order to strengthen our police force” said Tatar.

Police General Director Kasım Kuni for his part stated that the police force is always on duty day and night for everyone’s safety and peace.
