President Ersin Tatar said that the United Nations has taken a biased stance on the Pile-Yi ğitler road.

Tatar also noted that a large part of the road is located in the territory of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and through an agreement they will overcome the problems experienced on the rest of the road.

President Ersin Tatar received the head of the Akhataylılar Association Mehmet İpek and his accompanying delegation and addressed the issue of the Pile – Yiğitler road.

Tatar stated that the United Nations has adopted a biased stance on the Pile-Yiğitler Road and said, “In the area in the buffer zone between Pile and Larnaca buildings, roads and universities were built, but no one said anything. When we wanted to build a road, we faced a strange and brutal reaction.”

Stating that a large part of the road is located within the TRNC territory, Tatar said that they will complete the remaining work on the road once an agreement is reached.

He said that the state will do its best for the future and welfare of the people.
