President Ersin Tatar visited the Lefke Gazi Lyceum and the Cengiz Topel Vocational School on Thursday, chatting with students and teachers.

Tatar said that he had full confidence that the country’s youth will preserve the existence of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) with the support of Türkiye.

President Ersin Tatar on Thursday was in the district of Lefke where he visited the Lefke Gazi Lyceum and the Cengiz Topel Vocational School.

During the visits, Tatar chatted with the students and teachers, giving out messages of unity and solidarity.

Touching upon the earthquake disaster in Türkiye, the president said that it was important to protect and preserve one’s state, particularly in light of the developments that have taken place in Ukraine, Syria and Iraq.

“We now have a state in the Eastern Mediterranean. The meaning and importance of this state is to be able to live in freedom, independence, and liberty and in respect of human rights,” he added.
